Summary:
Chapter 119:
Captain Brokish and his crew aboard the Warsong continue their assault on an enemy battleship, targeting its engines and propulsion systems. They discuss the strategy of “crossing the T” and the lucky circumstances that led to their current advantage. The chapter ends with them preparing to capture or destroy all recording devices in the system to prevent their tactics from being copied.
Chapter 120:
Melina attends an awards ceremony with her husband Jonas and his squad. She meets various high-ranking officials, including Persephone and her family. The evening culminates in Jonas receiving promotions and awards, including the Hegemony Cross for Valor. Later at home, Melina examines Jonas’s uniform and becomes upset upon learning about his combat experiences and injuries.
