Summary:
Chapter 80:
Samson, overwhelmed by paperwork, decides to escape his office by conducting an impromptu inspection of the Warsong spaceship. He convinces his assistant, Bartholomew Grant, to arrange transportation and departs with a Home Guard squad as escort. Upon arrival, he’s greeted by Captain Brokish and begins a tour of the ship.
Chapter 81:
The Chroynos family is having a late dinner, with Celine becoming increasingly intoxicated. Samson proposes a solution to their family’s recent troubles, suggesting they adopt Diantha to resolve several issues at once. The conversation becomes tense as family members react to this unexpected proposal.
