Summary:
Chapter 49:
Senior Lieutenant Phyllip Chroynos II struggles with an overwhelming amount of paperwork and bureaucracy in his role as a Home Guard officer. He receives orders to deal with protesters at the front gate.
Chapter 50:
Thomys Promethean discusses recent events, including dinner drama and rumors, with the Warsong’s Captain. They prepare for a long journey to Earth, which neither seems particularly excited about.
Chapter 51:
Samson Rockpoint, a 10-year-old cadet at the Chroynos Hegemony Guardsmen Academy, struggles with his martial arts class but experiences a breakthrough after a cryptic conversation with a Guardsman named Mike.
