Summary
Chapter 27)
Persephone, the sole remaining heir to the Chroynos Corporate Hegemony, is bored and interacts with her new bodyguard Samson, revealing her teenage crush on him.
Chapter 26)
Samson eavesdrops on conversations at a ball, overhearing snide comments about his injuries that anger him, before explaining his rebuilt body parts to a young noble girl.
Chapter 28)
Persephone’s father Phyllip confronts her about a bin of discarded gifts, leading to a heated argument between the rebellious daughter and powerful emperor, interrupted by Persephone’s mother Celine.

Persephone constructs an anti-gravity harness with Samson’s guidance, testing it successfully but crashing into Samson, which leads to their first kiss.
