Summary:
Chapter 58:
Jonas is taken to a medical facility within the Citadel by Thomys Promethean and a group of Guardsmen. Dr. Sean examines Jonas and uses advanced nanotechnology to heal his injuries, including a concussion and numerous old, improperly healed wounds. During the treatment, Thomys recounts a war story about a brave Guardsman Captain to distract Jonas.
The chapter reveals that Jonas underwent an aptitude test as a child, which he rushed through due to misleading instructions from his instructors. This information deeply concerns Thomys and the Guardsmen, hinting at systemic issues within the creche system.
