The New Project

Good morning world!

So, this week we have a new project that we are starting. I have never taken on a challenge like this before! Because I am interested in business and personal development, my audible folders are full of them to prove it, I have the crazy idea to work with one of the most charming and erudite individuals I have ever spoken to to build a biographical business book.

Charles Vincent is a roofer in Houston. He founded his business a decade and a half ago, and within the first 18 months he had grown to a seven figure level. He built his business based upon relationship marketing only with customers and contractors. We met about 3 years ago now, and he is my polar opposite! Where I can be grumpy, mean and curmudgeonly, short and wary, when I’m not eating too much pizza & being sent to the big kid line at jiu jitsu practice. Charles is one of the biggest men I have ever met, absolutely gregarious, and completely charming.

On Friday afternoon I am going to meet Charles to begin an interview process to write our first biography. The intent is to create a lessons learned biography, learning real valuable lessons from real people.

I have no idea how this experiment is going to go, but I look forward to the results and creative challenge. There are so many great business people out there, who impact the lives of thousands of people every day, I can’t help but think this is going to be a fascinating project!
